How Do I Adopt

A few things you should know:

Visits

You can of course, follow the puppies along through pictures and videos, or you can come visit in person! I do ask that you DO NOT visit any other kennels or breeders in the same day and DO NOT bring any of your current pets as this tends to spread germs that can be very harmful to the puppies. I ask that visits wait until the puppies are four weeks old for their safety.

Deposits

Since there is a limited number of puppies, if you have your heart set on a certain puppy, I ask that you put down a $200 (non-refundable) deposit, as this is the only way I can reserve your place to choose. First deposit is first choice, second is second choice.  Choices are usually made between 5-6 weeks at breeders discretion. Breeder reserves the right to first choice which may be more than one puppy.

If you paid your deposit and circumstances are such that you decide you cannot buy a puppy at this time, you may move the deposit to the next litter. You must choose a puppy from the very next litter or your deposit is forfeit. You must inform me of this decision before the puppy is four weeks old in order to make the puppy available for other buyers. Not following these guidelines will result in the loss of the $200 deposit. The price of the puppy may change in future litters, and there is no guarantee that you will pay the same price as the litter on which the original deposit was made.

Prices

The price for all Goldendoodle puppies is $2,000 . Families with special needs or those planning to train their goldendoodle as a service dog for someone in the family will most certainly be considered for a discount. Second time buyers will also qualify for a discount. This price includes first shots, vet check, microchipping, puppy blanket, take home packet, lifetime support and the most well raised puppy possible.

If certain requirements are met, we are open to discussing the purchase of breeding privileges.  This will be at our discretion.

Free Puppy!

That’s right a free puppy.  We are always looking for qualified guardian homes. If you live within 100 miles of our location and think you would make a good guardian home please click on the link and read more about it. It is a great way for you to get the dog of your dreams at no cost to you.  We are in need of homes for goldendoodles, golden retriever and poodle puppies. The 100 mile distance may be waved in certain circumstances. At  this time there is a two year wait for a guardian puppy.

At this time we are not accepting any more applications for guardian homes.

Payment

I prefer cashier’s check, money order, or cash (made out to Lynne Porter-Whitmire). I will accept personal checks for deposits, but not for the final payment. The deposit counts towards your payment and the remainder of your payment is expected in full before or on the puppy’s six week birthday.

Please arrange to pick up your puppy within 3 days of his/her 7 week birthday. The 49th day is a crucial time in your puppy’s development and I will be spending lots of time with it on an individual basis , but it is best for him/her to be in his/her new home after this point.

Transport-There are several ways to pick up your puppy.  It is always preferable to pick him up in person. If other arrangements need to be made, we offer “nanny transport’ or can meet you half way for @.60 mile round trip.  For our puppies well being and safety we do not ship them  in cargo. We will be happy to  to meet you in the Atlanta or Greenville airport where you can return home with your pup in coach or for a fee, we will accompany them personally on a plane to the nearest airport to your home. Price for this service varies according to length of flight.   It is usually the cost to fly the pup, plus $200.00 for the nanny transporter.

We have found that it comes out to not much more than the standard $400.00 to ship a puppy in cargo and it is so much safer and less stressful for our babies.

If I am boarding your puppy after the 51st day ($30 per day), that payment is also expected on the sixth  week birthday. You can rest assured that your pup will receive daily age appropriate interaction and training so that you have a well socialized, crate trained, doggy door trained puppy when it is time to present him or her to your family.

Guarantee

I health test all of my breeding dogs to make sure you are getting the healthiest puppy possible. No puppy from Fountain Falls Goldendoodles has ever been diagnosed with a  genetic disease. I strive in every way possible to provide you with a healthy puppy. Please do your part to follow all food and exercise recommendations that will be given in detail in your take home packet. The wrong kind of food or exercise can do irreparable damage to a fast growing puppy’s joints. You should read the recommendations several times over the first year as puppies are not fully mature until at least 18 months of age.

I offer a 3 day general health guarantee and a 2 year genetic disease guarantee. Please read further for more information on the health guarantee.

Contract

All buyers most agree to and sign the contract on the day of purchase. You should familiarize yourself with the contract before picking up your puppy so you are aware of all guarantees and expectations.
